When we were ready to build a log home we discovered True North Log Homes. No other company was as knowledgeable, articulate and downright helpful as the crew at True North. This book is a must for anyone considering a log home. We used this plan book as our guide to compare other companies technology before we chose TNLH and we constantly referred to the helpful photos and descriptions. This plan book is an absolute essential for all looking to build a log home. We love our True North Log Home! BT in NY

My wife and I have been in the market for a log home (cottage) for some time now. We are looking at building in the Muskoka Ontario Canada region and while doing some research on log homes, we came across their planbook here on Amazon. We purchased the book and it is one incredible piece of work! As one other reviewer wrote, it could be a coffee table book – and in fact that’s where we keep it! This book is filled with tons of valuable and informative information, not to mention the amazing photography of many of their homes. Basically this book has sold us on True North Log Homes – not to mention they are located in the area we want to build in as well. The book contains in depth information on some of their patented systems and explains the log and corner joinery methods extremely well. We feel very confident that True North Log Homes is the correct choice for us. We are currently pursuing our dream with one of their salespeople and so far the experience has been 100% positive. I would tell anyone interested in a log home to get this book first – whether you build True North or not – it is a good idea to see what each manufacturers technology is all about considering the amount of energy and $’s you will be putting out!
